It's Wednesday, whose ready for some tech news? Yes, I found some good quality tech news buried by the political news and the Cubs news. Did you hear, the Cubs won the NLDS! Woohoo Go Cubs Go! Anyway, let's see what tech news I have in store for you today.

1. The end for Samsung Galaxy Note 7? It appears so for now. Samsung is ending production of Galaxy Note 7 and will stop offering replacement devices. Check with your carriers for options! Samsung is even sending out fireproof boxes to return the devices! YIKES!

2. Growth in tech jobs. Looking for a career in tech, these 6 jobs are projected to have the most growth in 2017 and beyond.

3. Smart home tech devices. Are you looking to go high tech within your home? Here some smart home device reviews. Amazon Echo, Hue lights, smart plugs and more. Have you incorporated any smart devices into your home? If so, how do you like them?

4. Software to make airports less stressful? JFK's terminal 4 is utilizing software called "Beontra" by Leidos. This predictive software is aimed at reducing extra time spent in airports. It analyzes TSA lines at various times to see when more agents, screeners etc are needed. The software works with arrival and departure information to analyze any delays. JFK is the first US-based airport to use the software, but it is in use in more than 30 airports in Europe and Asia.

5. President Obama sits down with WIRED to discuss Artificial Intelligence. President Obama spent some time at WIRED Magazine recently as an assistant Editor and sat down with WIRED's Scott Dadich and MIT's Joi Ito to discuss AI and the future of innovation and its effects it may have on jobs and the economy.
